We offer info-packed, expert-led seminars and skill-building demonstrations to arm you with resources you never knew you needed. And we’re thrilled to be featuring special guest, Jamie Grayson, CPST at all of our events this year. Hands-on learning is where it’s at! These interactive sessions are designed to teach you valuable skills you can take home and put into practice, like baby wearing, picking the perfect breast pump, and car seat safety. These demos can help you build confidence to handle life with a baby from day one.
Gear & Safety Education
Jamie Grayson's Baby Registry Lab
Visit with baby gear expert and Child Passenger Safety Technician, Jamie Grayson on the exhibitor floor to ask questions and test drive of a range of baby gear from Baby Trend, Britax, BOB Gear, Ergobaby, Evenflo, Inglesina, Maxi-Cosi, Peg Perego, Safety 1st, Stokke, and Tula. Then, join Jamie for a 60-minute session where he’ll walk attendees through products and safety basics in top baby gear categories like car seats, strollers, carriers, and high chairs (and give away prizes!).

New and soon-to-be parents need some TLC to enjoy a busy event day. We get it! Our gorgeous venue is easy to access with free and plentiful surface parking and meal options on-site. We also offer a feeding lounge for peace, quiet, nursing, and pumping. Guests can also enjoy any number of activities! From babywearing test drives to baby & bump photos to car seat safety clinics, every event is designed to make your experience fun and memorable.

Giveaways & Giving Back
Thanks to our incredible brand partners, our guests receive lavish gift bags and entry into grand prize drawings (giveaways vary by ticket type). It’s important to us to give back in meaningful ways, so attendees also have a chance to win dozens of prizes generously donated by our sponsors, local businesses, and brands in our charity raffle. This year, we’ll donate the proceeds from raffle ticket sales in Columbus to the OhioHealth Mothers’ Milk Bank!

Our expert-led seminars are classroom-style and 30 minutes long, with the exception of Baby Registry Lab, which is 60 minutes. Seating is first come, first served for all sessions!

So much! You’ll receive a printed copy of our program when you arrive on event day. And here’s a digital version you can download in advance, so you can get the lay of the land and plan your day!

You bet! Babies & Bumps is for anyone who’s pregnant or has a baby 0-12 months. And yes, of course, dads and partners are always encouraged to join! We also see many grandparents, sisters, friends, etc., who come to support the new and soon-to-be parents in their lives.

You can absolutely bring your baby if they’re in your arms or a carrier – we see lots of babies at our events! Unfortunately, the venue can’t accommodate strollers, but of course, if you have a special circumstance, like a medical condition or if you’re pregnant and are also bringing a baby, just let us know when you check in. A changing table is also available, and there’s a private room for nursing, pumping, feeding, or just taking a breather if you and your baby need one! While the lounge provides a comfy place for parents and babies, please note that our entire venue is breastfeeding-friendly! This event is meant for adults and babies only, so please plan to leave older children with a caregiver, if possible. We won’t turn you away, of course! But we want to make sure you can get as much out of the event as possible, and the educational format can be difficult for young children.

When it comes to parking, it’s FREE and plentiful! The easiest way to get to us is to use the entrance on the right side of the hotel instead of the lobby. There’s a lot of parking there, but there are also some adjacent lots if it’s full when you arrive. (It’s fine if you enter through the main entrance, too! Just walk straight to the back, turn right, and keep walking to find our event space.)

The Two One, the restaurant at the Renaissance, is open for lunch until 2PM on Sunday. And the market by the lobby is open all day for things like bottled beverages and snacks like chips and granola bars. There are also several restaurants within a short walk of the hotel, like Agape Mediterranean, Hot Chicken Takeover, BRU Burger Bar, and Local Cantina, all of which have 4-star ratings, and there’s a Starbucks! A lot of our attendees have a hearty brunch before coming to the event so they can grab (or bring!) a snack and be able to stay at the event the whole time. We just want you to have options and be able to plan your day!
